Our twenties are definitely a roller coaster ride. We dream big, set goals and become tinkerbells. We have no obligations and we can work 24/7. But in this roller coaster ride, we often lag behind due to some 20-something reasons and we end up searching “how can we stay motivated in our twenties?” Yes, the little tinkers also need life motivation and today, I am going to reveal my 6 secret motivational tips to my 20’s soul searchers.

As you are here to find out some motivations, let me tell you one thing. Dear, it’s you, you are your only limit and nobody else is going to push you. So, always be a self-motivator in your life. You may need the motivation to accomplish your dream, you may need it for something else… I don’t know the reason. But, with these guidelines, I can help you to learn self-motivation. How to stay motivated in your 20’s

1# Ask yourself why do you need motivation:

It’s always good to dig out the reason rather than avoiding it. Take your time and find out what has made you search motivations. If you can find it out, ask yourself if that thing is worthy enough to hold you back? When we set our priorities, we give the first position to our dreams. So, when something becomes a barrier in between, warrior you need to find your own way to overcome it.

2# Self-love is the superpower

Falling in love with the person in the mirror is the key to happiness. I discovered it when I found myself crying in the bathroom at 3 am in the morning, there was no one there for me. I picked myself up, cleaned up my eyes and found out the strength to move on. At that time I realized, love yourself first. Because that’s who you will be spending the rest of your life with. Trust me, the day you will start pampering yourself, it will make positive changes easily.

3# Occupy yourself with things

Thoughts often hit our mind when we sit empty. Most of the time it is some evil thoughts and we certainly over think it. Just don’t let that happen. Instead of sitting free, occupy yourself all the time. Work on your hobbies, talk to friends, engage in social media or clean up your home. Occupying yourself frequently helps us to stay motivated and makes us productive.

4# Be extrovert

I have seen people usually staying far away from society. Psychology says, these people often suffer from depression than one who explores. Being extrovert is a great exercise and you can develop it using social media.

5# Develop a healthy lifestyle

My life totally changed when I started working on my lifestyle. A healthy lifestyle doesn’t only change your body, it changes your mind, your attitude and your mood. To develop self-motivation, I definitely recommend you to follow a scheduled lifestyle. Workout daily, do meditation, eat healthy foods and drink lots of water. This is another way to express self-love and it keeps you away from the negative environment.

6# Learn time management

The bad news is time flies and the good news is you are the pilot. Time management is a very important thing to learn in our twenties. All the management of your life begins with time. When you will learn to finish things in time, your mindset will pumped-up. Gain control of your time and you will gain control of your life.

  1. Oh I totally agree with you, I’m too sometimes having a rough time especially when I reached my 20. Concerning about what should I do after finishing college, work and things like a person in their twenties will think of. Comparison and lack of motivations, I experienced it all too especially now I’m 22. How hard it was to faced everything when starting a new journey. But now I’m able to take it and be happy to learn more before reaching my thirties. Anyways, thank you so much for your great tips. I believe ourselves is our main source of motivation just like you said :D <3
